Yellowstone's Winter Wildlife

Yellowstone's wildlife cope with winter in different ways. Bears, marmots, and other animals hibernate through the cold, snowy months of winter. Other animals migrate to lower elevations outside the park, or fly much farther south to warmer climates. But some endure the cold nights where temperatures can reach 50 below zero Fahrenheit and the deep snow can reach depths of five feet or more in some places of the park.
