Oregon
Following are five galleries covering five different aspects of my two trips through Oregon. The first section includes the Columbia River Gorge, particularly the spectacular waterfalls found there. There are fourteen different waterfalls shown in this gallery, highlighting some of the finest in the Gorge. But I've also included a few wildflower shots of some flowers blooming at the time as well as some other scenics of the Gorge itself. The next section is of the Oregon Coast. I've spent at Bandon Beach and Cannon Beach, where huge sea stacks and spires line the coast. The next section shows the Painted Hills in North Central Oregon. While out of the way, the Painted Hills are quite a sight to see. The colors are unbelievable. I included both wider views so the viewer gets a feel for the entire area as well as more abstract close ups of formations, shapes, textures, and colors. The fourth section has my only Mount Hood photo from my trips. Clouds, rain, and snow were the norm, so getting to see the peak was a treat as I was leaving Oregon. The tulips are from the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn, Oregon. They hold a tulip festival every spring when the fields are in bloom and it was pretty amazing to see, even if the weather wasn't so good. Finally, I've included a small wildlife gallery with some harbor seals, a wood duck, and a ruddy duck. Enjoy!
