Forty-Eight Hours in the Upper Geyser Basin

All the images in this gallery were taken within 48 hours over January 3rd and 4th. This was a "self assignment" where I wanted to spend my time in the geyser basin around Old Faithful to see what kind of images I could come up with. Both days provided nice light until around 1 pm on January 4th when a storm front moved in that would leave about a foot of snow over the next several days. |
